These signals are meant to encourage any remaining healthy liver tissue to regenerate, but this doesn’t work in cases of severe disease. However, the signals do appear to help along the growth of liver tissue in neighboring lymph nodes.

“It’s incredible,” says Gouon-Evans. “Having this little incubator in the body [that can grow organs] is just amazing.”

Francis Ford Coppola has been trying to get his mega-epic megalopolis off the ground for years. After selling a massive share of his winery, the writer-director is ready to fund his film from his own pocket and start production on the film.

megalopolis is a futuristic feature that has been 20 years in the making. Similar to why it has taken James Cameron so long to make Avatar: The Way of Water, Coppola has been waiting for the technology to be ready for his vision. Finally, the technology is ready for megalopolis.

Coppola confirmed to IndieWire that his wide-spanning film will be the first feature shot on the LED volume stage at the newly opened Prysm Stages at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.

In his official statement, Coppola said he

As the Tennessee Valley Authority pushes to meet its ambitious goals for decarbonization, the authority’s independent watchdog is asking the nation’s largest public power company to bring more discipline to its operations.

Among its key conclusions, the TVA Office of the Inspector General found TVA needs to improve how it chooses and tracks new technologies, such as small modular nuclear reactors, to generate electricity for 10 million people across Tennessee and parts of six other states, as well as industrial and federal facilities.

Additionally, the inspector general warned that TVA is not effectively tracking what research and development records it is creating,
