Professors Trevor Pinch and Michael Lynch have been among the many recipients of the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S) 2017 Infrastructure Award, given to editors of the Handbooks for Science and Technology Studies. In his acceptance of this award on behalf of all the recipients (1977-2017), Edward J. Hacket thanked the society for his or her recognition (see excerpt below).
